On the evening of April 20, a powerful explosion thundered in Belgorod. According to the first data from military correspondents, the strike was carried out by Ukrainian troops in a residential area of the city at the Vatutin-Gubkin intersection.
The operational services are working on the spot, the place of the explosion has been cordoned off by the police. No casualties were reported. Not far from the site of the explosion are the medical unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Belgorod TV tower.
Later, Governor Gladkov said that according to preliminary information, there were no casualties. A huge funnel with a radius of 20 meters formed at the intersection of one of the central streets. The glazing of a nearby building is damaged, the explosion damaged several parked cars and knocked down power lines.
