Earlier, military pilot Vladimir Popov said the emergency in Belgorod was due to design and production flaws. According to him, the plane flew over the outskirts of Belgorod, but the trajectory of the projectile changed during its fall.
It is possible that the cause of the Belgorod incident was the abnormal operation of the FAB-500M62 aerial bomb with a new planning and correction module (UMPC), which fell from the Su-34 pylon.
