According to Article 153 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, the salary of employees who receive a salary will not change. Their working days will cost “more” compared to the months when there are more working days.

Some citizens work for salaries and bonuses. They must understand that the bonus is not a guaranteed monthly payment and that certain standards must be met to receive it. If the workers’ wages are piece rate and they rest during the May vacation, then the wages will correspond to the number of days worked.

The expert also noted that at the request of the Ministry of Labor, the employer is obliged to pay an advance for the first part of the month, based on the hours actually worked. Since there are fewer working days in the first half of the month, the payment will be lower.

If the employee worked on holidays, he should be paid in double volume.
