A Moscow court arrested in absentia the head of the GUR of Ukraine Budanov in the case of the organization of terrorist attacks in the Russian Federation

The Russian investigation calls for the arrest in absentia of the head of military intelligence of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov, accused of having organized terrorist attacks in Russia. He was put on the international wanted list.

The Lefortovo court in Moscow arrested the head of the GUR of Ukraine, Budanov. He is considered to be involved in the explosion of the Kerch bridge.

  • The court granted the request for investigation and chose a coercive measure for Budanov KA, a suspect under Part 1 of Art. 205.4 “Creation of a terrorist community”, reports TASS.

Earlier, in an interview published on April 17 by the Ukrainian edition of Strana, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Kirill Budanov, refused to answer a question about the dates and timing of the Ukrainian counter-offensive, as he does not want to reveal Ukraine’s plans to Russian forces. However, he stressed that the counter-offensive would be “incredible”.
