In the first three months, Goszhilnadzor received more than 8,300 calls from residents of the region. As a result of the inspections, citizens received reimbursement for unreasonably charged housing and communal service costs.
According to information from the regional GZhI, most of the questions from townspeople concerned the condition and operation of the housing stock. Many have complained about the Criminal Code’s non-compliance with utility bill billing rules.
Based on the facts reported by citizens in their appeals, 780 checks were carried out and 680 breaches of mandatory requirements were revealed. At the same time, 85 legal entities and officials were placed under administrative responsibility – 2.7 million rubles were allocated.
It should be noted that the priority of preventive measures is set by law – since the beginning of 2023, more than 1,600 warnings have been issued about the inadmissibility of violations of licensing requirements.
Recall that in the Volgograd region systematic work is underway to restore order in the housing and communal services sector. Additional tasks aimed at strengthening state control over industry were set by Governor Andrey Bocharov.
