At the site of an emergency ammunition drop, sappers found another shell, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.

According to the head of the region, the bomb will be defused at the test site. Over 3,000 people from 17 homes were evacuated during the events. Gladkov said the decision to evacuate was made by operational headquarters.

The explosion in Belgorod thundered on April 20. The Ministry of Defense said the cause was an abnormal gathering of Su-34 aviation ammunition. As a result, three people were injured, one of whom refused hospitalization.

It is possible that the cause of the Belgorod incident was the abnormal operation of the FAB-500M62 aerial bomb with a new planning and correction module (UMPC), which fell from the Su-34 pylon.
