The results of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) competition “All-Russian Accelerator for Industrial Tourism” were summarized in Moscow. The Tula region in 2023 is represented by five companies. Director of the Tourism Development Agency of the Tula region, Elena Martynova, presented best practices in the formation of industrial excursions and the use of industrial tourism.
The mushroom cultivation enterprise Tula became the winner of the PROMstart nomination, and the metallurgical enterprise – of the nomination of the best industrial souvenir.
“Governor Alexei Gennadyevich Dyumin has set himself the task of expanding the range of tourist products. The Tula region participates in the industrial accelerator for the second time, and now not only large, but also small enterprises are opening their doors. Participation in the industrial accelerator allows us to jointly create the most diverse offers for guests in the region, and also contributes to the professional orientation of young people and the development of entrepreneurship,” said Larisa Solomatina, Vice- Minister of Economic Development of Tula. Region.
In 2022, within the framework of the national project “Tourism and hotel industry”, the Tula region was among the 20 regions selected to participate in the accelerator for the development of industrial tourism “Open Industry”. The accelerator is organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) and RANEPA with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
