Political scientist Mikhailov considered the statement of the NATO Secretary General on Ukraine as a test of the reaction of the Russian Federation

legion-media Politics

NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg’s words about Ukraine’s entry into the alliance could be a test of Russia’s reaction. This opinion is shared by political scientist Yevgeny Mikhailov, reports Channel Five.

According to Mikhailov, Europe is aware of the risks of Kiev’s rapid entry into the NATO military bloc. Such decisions could cause the real outbreak of an open military conflict with Russia.

The political scientist noted that in the event of the outbreak of a war project, tensions can increase with the use of all types of weapons. Moreover, Stoltenberg’s statements only exacerbate international relations.

Previously, the “Main Regional” reported on the assessment of Ukraine’s chances of joining the North Atlantic Alliance. The remarks of the secretary general of the alliance on the consent of all members to the enlargement of the bloc should not be taken too literally.
