New Delhi. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh called Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Sukhbir Singh Badal on Saturday and inquired about the health of his father and former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal.
Parkash Singh Badal (95), SAD chief and five-time chief minister of Punjab, was admitted to a hospital in Mohali a week ago after he complained of breathlessness.
In a telephonic conversation with Sukhbir, Defense Minister Singh wished speedy recovery of Parkash Singh Badal. He tweeted, “Spoke to Mr. Sukhbir Badal and inquired about the health of former Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal who is admitted in the hospital. I wish him good health and a speedy recovery.
