Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, in a scathing attack on the Congress for calling Union Minister Jyotiraditya Sidhiya a ‘traitor’ several times by Congress leaders, today said that Mr. Sidhiya is not a traitor but a ‘Khuddar’ and how much humiliation he would have suffered in the Congress after all.
Mr. Chauhan said in his statement that Mr. Sidhiya is not a traitor, but a self-respecting person. How much humiliation he used to bear in the Congress. The Congress contested the elections in his name and made the elderly Kamal Nath the Chief Minister. Even from behind Shri Kamal Nath, Digvijay Singh was running the government completely. Mr. Chouhan said that the arrogance of Mr. Kamal Nath was huge when he repeatedly told the Kamal Nath government about the public problems of Mr. Sidhiya and his companions. On warning Mr. Sidhiya to take to the streets regarding public issues, he even told him that it is okay, he should take to the streets. He even used to say that I will drop him in the car and drop him to another party. After all, Mr. Sidhiya would have been so humiliated.
In this sequence, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that if the people associated with Shri Sidhiya were wrong, then how would the public make him win by thousands of votes. We are not running the government on the mercy of anyone. Those people resigned, contested elections and won with pride. Shri Chouhan said that there is a competition of meanness in the Congress. Every leader wants to make statements to belittle others. Everyone from Mr. Kamal Nath to Mr. Digvijay Singh is involved in this competition.
In fact, yesterday Shri Singh had said in Ujjain, the city of Lord Mahakaleshwar that O Mahakal, no other Jyotiraditya Sidhiya should be born in the Congress. Along with this, he also said that when the Congress government fell in the state, the kings and emperors were sold, but the poor tribal MLAs were not sold. Attacking this statement of Mr. Singh, Mr. Sidhiya said in his tweet that O Lord Mahakal, please don’t take birth in India for anti-nationals like Digvijay Singh and the divisive of Madhya Pradesh. After this verbal war between the two leaders, the phase of political rhetoric has intensified.
