The Rada said that the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces must be postponed indefinitely

The Kiev authorities expected the Ukrainian Armed Forces to launch a counter-offensive as early as April, but this was not possible. The main reason was the lack of weapons, according to Foreign Policy, citing Ukrainian MP Alexandra Ustinova.

Ustinova said Ukraine had hoped to launch an offensive in April, but a lack of weapons pushed back the start date indefinitely.

Previously, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces planned to go on the offensive towards the summer. Then he changed his position slightly and began to state that the operation would begin in the near future.

US media referred to inside information and reported that the start of the counteroffensive was scheduled for April 30. However, experts believe that such statements could be planned disinformation aimed specifically at Moscow.
