‘This is the last phase of my career..’, MS Dhoni hints at retirement from IPL

Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has said that he is in the dying stages of his career, giving credence to the fact that the talismanic wicket-keeper batsman is playing his last game in the Indian Premier League.

Overwhelmed by the love showered on him by the crowd in Chennai, Dhoni also said that after two years, the spectators here have got a chance to come and watch the match at the ground and playing in front of them is special.

After defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets, Dhoni said, “What else to say. I have said everything This is the last phase of my career. It’s nice to play here. The audience has given us a lot of love. “He said,” Not getting much chance to bat but no complaints. Here I was hesitant to field first as I thought there would not be much dew. Our spinners bowled brilliantly and so did the fast bowlers, especially Pathirana.
