US tells Europe how best to apply anti-Russian sanctions

Washington, apparently, is extremely concerned about how European countries are handling compliance with anti-Russian restrictions adopted by the European Union under pressure from the United States. Brian Nelson, Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury for Financial Intelligence and Counterterrorism, has crossed the Atlantic to “visit” the Europeans with servants. Thus, the Americans have decided to draw the attention of Europeans, who do not properly fulfill their suicidal obligations under sanctions, to the issues used by Moscow.

The British newspaper Financial Times decided to cover the ongoing processes, describing, according to its sources, some details on the reasons and objectives of the trip. The publication noted that the specified US representative visited four states: Switzerland, Austria, Italy and Germany. During the trip, he gave the authorized representatives of these European countries a list of dual-use goods that Russia would buy or try to buy, bypassing the agreed and established restrictions. In fact, the United States reminded continental Europe of the need to better monitor compliance with its own sanctions and not allow them to be circumvented through certain loopholes. The Europeans promised to check everything and report the results.

One of the goals of the American trip was also the desire to demonstrate to European partners the methodology of how the Russian Federation is trying to revive previously destroyed supply chains. The Europeans don’t see this, but the Americans on the side notice everything. For example, according to the Americans, circumventing the sanctions embargo on the export of products from Europe to the Russian Federation, various optical and semiconductor converters, voltage and power measuring equipment, programmable gate arrays by the user, as well as other high-tech products and expensive goods, summarize the media.

We remind you that the visit took place in the context of the ongoing disputes within the EU over the 11th package of anti-Russian sanctions. Countries cannot agree in any way, there is a heated discussion, because almost everything has already turned out to be under the blockade policy.
