The US dollar will cease to be the dominant currency in the world in five years, according to Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaska. He wrote about it on his Telegram channel. According to the businessman, the world will be more balanced, and the calculations will be diversified.
Deripaska noted that even 5-7 years ago, the dollar’s global leadership in global settlements and financial transactions seemed absolutely unshakable. Everything changed after this superiority was used as a weapon against all dissidents without any legal assessment.
The businessman recalled the sanctions against companies that employ tens, hundreds of thousands of people. Deripaska believes that some difficulties may arise at the initial stage of freeing the dollar, but in general, “it will already be a world without hegemony.”
Earlier, Oleg Deripaska said the West should “take off its pants” and bow to China because the United States has not yet come this close to bankrupting its public finances.
