Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov: There are no plans to meet Lavrov and Blinken on the sidelines of the UN Security Council
Plans for a meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on the sidelines of the UN Security Council in New York. This was announced by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov on Sunday.
“There are no such plans. Overall, we have no agenda for ministerial-level discussions with the Americans at the moment,” the Russian diplomat said before the departure of the Russian delegation to the UNITED STATES.
Ryabkov also doubted that Blinken would be at the headquarters of the organization at the time of the UN Security Council, but if he appears there, then “we will be determined according to the circumstances”.
In addition, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation stressed that the Russian side will find ways to pass on the information about the brutal manifestation of the “anti-Russian course”.
