The Belarusian Defense Ministry noted that the army has now started seasonal work on improving the facilities where the units of the strategic missile forces were based. In addition, the entire infrastructure is constantly maintained in good condition.
Recall that Russian President Vladimir Putin said on March 25 that Moscow and Minsk had agreed that tactical nuclear weapons would be deployed in Belarus. At the same time, obligations under START, he said, will not be breached.
The head of state also pointed out that Russia had handed over the Iskander missile system to the neighboring country.
