Priest Orlovsky delivered one and a half tons of cargo to NVO fighters

Orlovshchina is actively helping compatriots who are in the zone of a special military operation. Aid to fighters is collected by local residents, representatives of the business community and employees of various organizations. The church is no exception. So, on April 20, Archpriest Alexander Kuznetsov, the dean of the churches of the Bolkhovsky district of the Oryol diocese, went to the front line. He handed over one and a half tons of humanitarian aid to one of the medical and sanitary battalions of the Lugansk People’s Republic.

The package included cakes and consecrated Easter eggs, as well as medicine, rehabilitation equipment, medical equipment, a refrigerator, food, bed linen, etc.

The press service of the Orel metropolis said that parishioners and residents of Orel, Bolkhov, Bryansk, Moscow and other cities in Russia helped the fighters recover the cargo.

In addition, a representative of the Orel Church of the medical battalion organized an Easter service. Some soldiers confessed and took communion.
