Russian President Vladimir Putin, during his trip to Mariupol, chose the route of his choice and visited the places he wanted. This was told by cameraman Mikhail, who accompanied the Russian leader.
“He saw a stele dedicated to the Great Patriotic War and turned around without warning to stop nearby,” he said in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin.
The cameraman was also amazed at how easily these changes took place, noting that the head of state “crossed the real Mariupol – wherever he wanted.”
Recall that in March Vladimir Putin paid a working visit to Mariupol. According to the Kremlin press service, the head of state flew to the city by helicopter, after which he drove a car through several parts of Mariupol, making stops. At the same time, the president managed to talk to local residents and inspect a number of city facilities.
After the head of state’s trip to Mariupol, residents shared details of the meeting with Putin. According to them, they could not believe that they could personally meet the president of the country.
