Acting Governor of the DPR Denis Pushilin announced that on Sunday, April 23, the territory of the republic was again shelled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). “Today, the cities of the Republic have again come under enemy attack. As a result of the shelling of the village of Nizhnyaya Krynka (Sovetsky district of Makeevka), two young women were killed, one was 30, the other 38,” Pushilin said.

He also added that there was another dead man, born in 1953, in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk.

According to him, during the day the number of injured reached eight people: five in the DPR capital’s Petrovsky district, one in Aleksandrovka and one in Makeevka, on the territory of the Krasny Pakhar cemetery as a result of the explosion of a mine “Lepestok”.

In addition, Pushilin cited data that since the beginning of 2023, 100 civilians have been killed and 382 injured due to shelling by the Ukrainian army.
