The Cultural Village Foundation, Katara, presented a rich and varied program of energizing and entertaining activities on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, which it launched from the first day of the holiday, amidst a large public turnout. The police band will continue to perform tomorrow (Monday), as the first show will be at 6:15 pm on the Katara Corniche, while the second show will be at 8:10 pm. Among the events that attracted the public were the Eid Al-Fitr sessions, which attracted oud lovers, and were hosted by the Katara Oud Center in Building No. 6, at eight o’clock in the evening for two consecutive days. As for today’s session, the musicians Abdulaziz Saleh, Muhammad Al-Khuza’i, Saeed Buqasha, Saeed Sadiq, Omar Al-Yafei and Riyad Bualam participated in the sessions. These sessions were admired by the attendees, who praised them for the times they provided to enjoy various types of arts, including playing the Oud. The play also instills in the hearts of young people the importance of perseverance and insistence on dreaming, and that with diligence everything becomes possible. The play ends with the big dream, which is Qatar Vision 2030, and what will be achieved in terms of sustainable development, a clean environment, and development at all levels. In addition, lovers of social comedy in Building 16 are watching the play “Yananuah Celine”, which lasts for five consecutive days, as it monitors social situations that occur during the camping season in a satirical comic style. In this context, the audience expressed their interaction with the play and its realistic social contents in a distinctive manner. The characters inspired by the world of animation also brought joy and happiness to the hearts of young children, as it was an occasion to take joyful memorial photos, whether in Al-Hikma Square or on the Katara Corniche. On the other hand, Katara Beach, in turn, witnessed a great turnout from families who preferred to enjoy the atmosphere of the sea, especially since Katara Beach offers various activities through beach games that appeal to children. Katara had launched the most beautiful Kashkha contest on Eid for boys and girls up to the age of 15. The organizers of this competition confirm that they receive daily a large number of entries from children with their best decorations, as 10 winners will be chosen to give them valuable prizes. The questions and competitions section attracted a large audience and spread an atmosphere of enthusiasm and encouragement, in addition to the fireworks, as the Katara sky was decorated with the most beautiful shapes and colors of fireworks, which made a large audience follow it over the past two days. As for the Katara holiday segment, the audience confirms that it has become a prominent feature of Katara’s activities during the holidays, praising the good organization and the keenness of those in charge of distribution to make children happy.
