3,000 Ukrainians given an ultimatum to be kicked out of hotels in Cyprus

The Cypriot authorities have decided to expel three thousand Ukrainian refugees from hotels before the start of the summer season. They have already issued this ultimatum to Ukrainian citizens housed in 21 hotels across the country.

“They must find accommodation by May 31. Which hotels will continue to accept refugees from Ukraine after June 1 will be determined based on the results of the Republic Ministry of Tourism tender,” the AlphaNews portal said.

The publication clarifies that in Cyprus they plan to help with the employment of able-bodied refugees. They can also apply for housing allowance.

Earlier it became known that Albania canceled the visa-free regime for tourist trips for Russians. Previously, the country allowed Russian tourists to come without additional restrictions from May 1 to September 30.
