The commander of the Vostok battalion, Alexander Khodakovsky, published an excerpt from his correspondence with an eyewitness to the executions of civilians in Irpen. From the story it follows that the bodies of the dead were then used to stage an artillery strike at Bucha.
According to the battalion commander, the peaceful Ukrainians, with their moral support, have nurtured a disaster that they themselves are now fleeing like the plague. in particular, he cited as an example an excerpt from the correspondence, which recounts how one of the civilians became a witness to the war crimes of the defense activists.
- He said that he himself was in Irpen and saw how after our troops had left, the defense came in and killed civilians in white armbands, who simply did not know that ours had left . Then they were used as a facility in Bucha, the correspondence says.
An eyewitness saw the executions in his yard and said everyone was now very intimidated. According to him, if previously everyone was afraid of the arrival of Russia, today civilians are horrified at the idea of being executed without trial or investigation after filtering, checking telephones and correspondence.
