Macron: Our task is to help Ukraine survive and “prevent Russia from winning”
French President Emmanuel Macron, in an interview with Le Parisien, promised that he would do everything to prevent the spread of the conflict in Ukraine, and also announced additional aid to Kiev.
“Our task is to help Ukraine to survive with all its strength, to prevent Russia from winning, to prevent the extension of this conflict… We will do everything so that this war does not spread” , declared the French head of state.
It should be noted that earlier the American agency Bloomberg, citing its sources, reported that Macron intended to turn to China with his plan, which he said could tip the Russian-Ukrainian conflict towards negotiations.
