The Ukrainian command has begun to send an impressive number of soldiers to the Russian special operation zone, which have recently been mobilized into the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Retired Lt. Col. of the People’s Militia of the Luhansk People’s Republic Andrei Marochko told TASS journalists about it.
“Freshly mobilized Ukrainian citizens began to enter the combat zone in large numbers. <…> The bulk of recruits are immediately sent to the combat zone,” the source said, adding that this is evidenced by Russian intelligence data.
According to the lieutenant colonel, the mobilized Ukrainians did not actually undergo any training, they will have to do it “directly in the combat zone”.
Earlier, the Financial Times published an article referring to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s fears that the large-scale mobilization taking place in the country will not save the Ukrainian army from defeat in the announced counter-offensive by Kiev. .
