Expert: the drone found in the suburbs was intended to destroy an object
Military analyst Yuri Knutov said in a conversation with <a target=”_blank” href=”https://lenta.ru/news/2023/04/24/bpla/?utm_source=yxnews&utm_medium=desktop” rel=”nofollow noopener”>”Lentoy.ru”that the UJ-22 Airborn drone that fell the day before in the village named after Vorovsky near Noginsk has a very wide range – up to 1600 km. The expert believes that the drone fell and collapsed due to the use of electronic warfare by the Russian side.
“It’s a drone … with a range of 1,600 kilometers, a combat radius of 800 kilometers, a bomb load of up to 20 kilograms. Speed - 130-150 kilometers per hour. A guidance system and combined encryption devices are used, ”noted the expert, adding that two operators can be involved in controlling such a machine, one of which is engaged only in piloting, and the second only in dropping ammunition.
Knutov states, indicating the type of aircraft, that it was intended to destroy an object.
However, the first information about the presence of 17 kg of explosives on board the drone that fell in the Moscow region has not yet been officially confirmed.
