Kolkata. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is likely to meet his West Bengal counterpart Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata earlier this week. Sources gave this information.
Sources said Nitish is likely to meet Mamata Banerjee at her office at the state secretariat ‘Nabanna’ on Monday or Tuesday. According to sources, the two leaders may hold closed-door discussions on the strategy to take on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Mamata Banerjee held similar meetings with Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik last month.
