Political scientist Svetov proposed to deprive foreign agents of the fees they earn in Russia

Political scientist and journalist Yuri Svetov considers the process of raising taxes for foreign agents to be difficult, therefore he proposes to create a fund to which their fees collected in Russia will be transferred.

According to the expert, it is now difficult to imagine how the increase in fees for foreign agents will turn out. This is a complex process and should be handled by experts.

How to make these lists? How to fix where he lives? How are these taxes calculated from it? – Svetov noted in an interview with Zvezda.

Society has more questions about why these people leave, condemn, come back and continue to perform here. Without the intervention of the public, they would have continued to give concerts, performances and write books here, believes the political scientist.

Svetov suggested thinking about creating a fund to which the money earned by foreign agents from what is sold and distributed in Russia would be transferred.

“You go to any bookstore, there are a lot of books. On some it is written that they are foreign agents, on others not. These books have been published, they collect royalties,” the expert noted.

According to him, “people who are against Russia cannot receive money in Russia, live on it and pour mud on Russia from there”.

Earlier, the State Duma proposed to introduce an additional fee for foreign agents. It is proposed to allocate the funds received for social assistance to orphans.
