“We have been very clear on this agreement. It consists of two parts and both parts should be performed in the same way. This is the main part of the message. There are many details to discuss. But the main approach has been voiced more than once,” the diplomat said.
The theme of the first meeting was effective multilateralism and the defense of the principles of the Charter of the United Nations. The second meeting, scheduled for April 25, will be devoted to the theme of a settlement in the Middle East.
Speaking at the first meeting, Sergei Lavrov said that the Nazi regime in Kiev cannot represent the people of Donbass, who refused to accept “the results of the bloody February 2014 coup and against whom the putschists started a war for this”. ”
At the same time, Lavrov stressed that the task of the special operation is to protect the population from extermination by the Kiev regime, as well as to eliminate the security threat from NATO.
