“Sergei Lavrov has arrived in New York. Tomorrow, under his presidency, there will be a meeting of the UN Security Council,” Zakharova’s Telegram channel said.
On April 24, Lavrov is expected to chair a meeting of the Security Council and hold a discussion on defending the principles of the World Organization’s Charter. In addition, an open debate on the Middle East with his participation is planned. The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry also plans to meet with UN Secretary General António Guterres.
