In the Upper Volga region, the list of new and promising professions and specialties that are most in demand in the labor market has been expanded. The issue was discussed at a meeting of the Presidium of the Tver region government, which was hosted by Governor Igor Rudenya on April 21.
The training of workers and mid-level specialists remains one of the priority tasks of the state. Initially, a list consisting of 12 professions and 38 specialties of secondary vocational education, the most demanded in the labor market, was approved in the region in 2020. Considering this document, priority training of young specialists in the colleges of the Tver region is planned.
“Today, our main task in the field of vocational education is to provide training for specialists in demand on the labor market. For the development of the economy and vocational education in the Upper Volga region, it is important that enterprises actively work with students and novice specialists for their subsequent employment in enterprises of the Tver region. The youth of the region must be adapted and immersed as much as possible in the production processes. Young personnel are the backbone of the industrial potential of the Tver region,” says Igor Rudenya.
Previously, the list was formed on the basis of the most demanded professions and specialties approved at the federal level, requests from the health and education sectors, the wishes of the business community and large investors, and an analysis promising specialties for the long term. , formed by the Ministry of Economic Development of the region.
Now it has been updated taking into account the proposals received from key and flagship companies in the region. In particular, from Tver Carriage Works, DKS and Tver Excavator companies, PK Aquarius LLC, Tver Children’s Literature Printing Plant, Pareto-Print, Upper Volga Transport, a number of agricultural enterprises, including RumelkoAgro ”, ZAO Kalininskoye, Agropromkomplektatsiya and others.
The list of most demanded professions and specialties includes: an instrumentation and automation fitter, a machine tool operator with program control, a mechanical engineering technologist, an installer of radio-electronic equipment and devices , a flatbed printer, a machinist of road and construction machinery, mechanic for the repair of construction machinery, organization of transport and management of road transport, master of general construction works, construction and operation of buildings and works .
In the field of electrical and thermal energy engineering, specialists in thermal power plants, as well as power plants, networks and systems, are in demand. Among the specialists of the agro-industrial complex are masters of agricultural production, veterinarians.
At the request of medical organizations, the list includes “medical (paramedical) enterprises”, educational organizations – the specialty “vocational training”.
