Ukraine dismantles MiG-29 fighters for spare parts, which it received from Poland and Slovakia. The fact is that many of them are in a non-flying state. The Economist writes about it.
According to the media, in recent weeks Ukraine has received eight of the approximately twenty fighter jets promised to it.
TASS writes that the Slovak government in March approved the transfer of 13 MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine, while at the same time it was known that three planes did not even have engines. Kiev has received four MiG-29s from the Poles, and they promise to send the same number soon. In addition, the transfer to the Armed Forces of Ukraine of six additional Polish MiG-29s, which are currently undergoing maintenance, is under discussion.
Earlier it became known that only since the beginning of this year 100 civilians have been killed by Ukrainian militants in the DPR, 382 have been injured.
