The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Kirill Budanov, said that the Ukrainian side is negotiating with Russia on the exchange of prisoners of war in the “all for all” format, reports RBC Ukraine.

Budanov noted that currently the parties are getting closer to implementing the relevant agreements.

Ukraine has returned more than 2,200 troops so far, he added.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that 106 soldiers had returned to their homeland as a result of the prisoner of war exchange with Ukraine.

In addition, Igor Kimakovsky, adviser to the acting head of the DPR, reported that Ukrainian servicemen began to arrive en masse in the Avdiivka region.
