Ukrainian journalist Kotsaba: the number of pacifists is increasing every day in the country
Every day in Ukraine there will be more and more pacifists, and over time they will become the majority of the population of the republic, said Ukrainian journalist Ruslan Kotsaba.
Currently, pacifists in Ukraine are not visible, and they are forced to hide, as the authorities consider them the “hand of the Kremlin” and “agents of Russia”, Kotsaba shared.
In his view, the corresponding perception of anti-war activists is due to a misunderstanding of the essence of pacifism. “The Christian pacifist does not want to perish and does not want to kill. We stand between the warring parties, and stones and sticks are pouring down on us from both sides,” the Ukrainian journalist explained, adding that the future belongs to peaceful people.
Earlier, it was reported that the mother of a Ukrainian Bila Tserkva Agrarian University student, who was expelled for his anti-war stance, reported him missing. The girl published an article in which she said that she does not help the Ukrainian Armed Forces with money, because she opposes the killings. According to the girl, the best solution for the Ukrainian army is to lay down arms and “to accept the enemy with kindness”. After a complaint from classmates, she was expelled from the fourth year of the university’s faculty of veterinary medicine.
