Fly Dubai aircraft’s engine caught fire after taking off from Kathmandu airport in Nepal on April 24. After which the safe landing of the aircraft was done. Nepal Civil Aviation Authority said that Fly Dubai flight 576 (Boeing 737-800) landed safely. This flight is now moving from Kathmandu to Dubai. Kathmandu airport operations have now returned to normal. Nepal’s tourism minister says the Dubai plane that allegedly caught fire while taking off from Kathmandu airport has now been sent to Dubai. There were 120 Nepalese nationals and 49 foreign nationals on board this Dubai-bound flight.
