Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna had a clear vision for the development of Uttar Pradesh: Adityanath

Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Tuesday that Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna had a clear vision for the development of the state.

Yogi Adityanath paid floral tributes to former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and freedom fighter Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna by garlanding her statue here on the occasion of her 104th birth anniversary. On this occasion, Yogi said that Bahuguna had actively participated in various freedom movements of the country.

Remembering Bahuguna, Yogi Adityanath said that he was born on 25 April 1919 in a village in present-day Pauri district of Uttarakhand. He said that Bahuguna received his early education in a school in the village itself, while for higher education he moved to Prayagraj and then jumped into the freedom struggle.

Yogi Adityanath said that Bahuguna will always be remembered for his service to the state and the country as a Chief Minister. Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra, Principal Secretary (Home) Sanjay Prasad and other officials also paid homage to the statue of former Chief Minister Bahuguna.
