Dearness Allowance has been increased in Haryana
In fact, the Haryana government has announced a four percent increase in the dearness allowance (DA) of the state government employees who are paid under the Seventh Pay Commission. According to the order issued on Thursday by the Finance Department of the Government of Haryana, the DA on the basic salary has been increased from the existing 38 percent to 42 percent. This will be effective from January 1, 2023.
Enhanced DA will be given from April salary
According to the order, the increased DA will be given from the salary of April and the arrears from January to March 2023 will be given in May. In another order, the Finance Department said that the state government has also increased the dearness relief to the pensioners/family pensioners under the Seventh Pay Commission by four per cent.
It has been said in the order that DR has also been increased from 38 percent to 42 percent of the existing basic pension/family pension. This will also be applicable from January 1, 2023.
Central employees are getting 42 percent DA
Explain that central employees are already getting 42 percent dearness allowance and dearness relief. Dearness Allowance is given to the employees for better living in rising inflation. It is reviewed twice a year according to the inflation data of the Labor Ministry. Though dearness allowance is reviewed in January and July, it has been delayed for some time.
