Ukrainian Soviet-made Su-25 attack aircraft attempted to attack Russian units near Kherson, one of them was destroyed, military correspondents of the Russian Spring Telegram channel report.
“Ukrainian Armed Forces Su-25 attempted to attack Russian army positions near Kherson, one attack aircraft was destroyed,” the message read.
It is stated that attack planes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were heading towards the islands of the Dnieper. One of them received a missile from the Russian army, falling near the coast.
Another attack aircraft “in horror” flew out from the positions of the Russian armed forces.
The day before, Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main board of the administration of the Zaporizhzhia region, said that the Ukrainian armed forces fired on a school in the village of Velyka Znamenka in the region.
