The meeting of the UN Security Council showed which countries are ready to constructively discuss pressing issues and who can stage a farce. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zakharova.
“It has become clear to everyone that there are countries which are ready to constructively discuss pressing issues, and there are those which can fix anything out of anything, not even a spectacle, but a farce,” Zakharova told reporters.
She also pointed out that this “can be tracked by the quality of performance.”
UN Secretary-General António Guterres told a meeting of the organization’s Security Council that tensions between major powers had reached a historic high.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov believes that the UN and the requirements of its charter threaten the global ambitions of the United States.
