This is a gift from St. Petersburg to the partner city Minsk, presented in the light of the year announced at the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS “St. Petersburg – the cultural capital of Commonwealth 2023”.
The gala concert program combined classics and modernity, museum rarities and experiments, timeless stories and the latest hits. Adagio from the ballets “Spartacus” and “Casse-Noisette”, grand pas from “Don Quichotte” and “La Bayadère”, pas de deux from the ballet “Le Corsaire”, modern choreographic numbers – the most diverse in style, direction and vocabulary, the numbers were performed by real ballet masters.
Honored Artist of Russia, Premier of the Mariinsky Theater Vladimir Shklyarov and First Soloist of the Mariinsky Theater Maria Shirinkina, First Soloists of the Mikhailovsky Theater Marat Shemiunov and Nikita Chetverikov, Honored Artist of Russia, Ballerina of the Mikhailovsky Theater Irina Perren, Ballerina of the Mikhailovsky Theater Anzhelina Vorontsova , as well as the Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus, the main soloist of the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus Lyudmila Khitrova, the main soloist of the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus Dmitry Uksusnikov and many others.
