He noted the coordination with the Qatari consulate in Jeddah to receive the evacuated residents and secure their arrival at the airport and from there to Doha, praising the cooperation and coordination with the ambassador of the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Khartoum to accomplish the task.
He pointed out that security is currently being established in the city of Port Sudan, but he did not rule out the emergence of the problem of food and water scarcity, due to the accumulation of large numbers of displaced people from Khartoum who are heading to the city of Port Sudan, pointing to the keenness of the Qatari embassy to secure foodstuffs in light of the state of fatigue suffered by those coming to Port Sudan.
