The Russian Foreign Ministry declared ten Norwegian diplomats persona non grata in response, the ministry said in a statement.
It is stated that Norwegian Ambassador Robert Kvile was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry, which protested over Norway’s decision to expel diplomats from the Russian Embassy and employees of the military attache .
“Kvila received a note declaring, in response, ‘persona non grata’ ten representatives of the Norwegian Embassy in Moscow and the Defense Attaché Office,” the statement said.
Earlier, the Norwegian Foreign Ministry declared 15 Russian embassy employees persona non grata and ordered them to leave the country as soon as possible.
