Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev spoke about the possible future of Ukraine. According to him, Russia prefers a quiet division of Ukraine by Poland and other countries to the country’s entry into the NATO bloc.
Better a quiet division of Ukraine by Poland and other countries than Ukraine in NATO or a world war
- said Medvedev during the marathon of the Russian society “Knowledge”.
The desire of some European states to seize the territories of present-day Ukraine was mentioned more than once in the reports of the Russian foreign intelligence service. One of the countries that claims more than others on the territory of Ukraine is Poland.
Warsaw, according to the head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, has long had its eye on the western regions of Ukraine. And the comments on the alliance with the Kiev regime, regularly heard from Poland, are only a bluff.
It should be noted that the representatives of the Kiev regime regularly declare their intention to immediately join the North Atlantic Alliance. However, the leadership of the military bloc does not yet intend to accept Ukraine into its ranks.
NATO countries are limited to large-scale arms deliveries to Kiev for combat operations against Russia.
It is the weakening of the Russian Federation, according to Russian and foreign military experts, that is the main task of the United States and its NATO allies. The future fate of Ukraine in this context does not interest them much.
