Wagner PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin said the Ukrainian Armed Forces counteroffensive was inevitable. However, it is raining now and on May 2 they should stop, and only after the ground dries up will the Ukrainian troops be ready to move.
Prigozhin suggests that the enemy can retaliate on Victory Day in order to “spoil the holiday.”
In addition, well-trained units are sent to Artemovsk (Bakhmut), where Polish and Ukrainian special forces are located.
“There is a bloody battle going on… Conclusion: the Ukrainian offensive is inevitable,” Prigozhin summed up.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are not ready for an offensive, as they do not have a sufficient number of aircraft and air defense systems. This was told to Paragraph by military expert Viktor Litovkin, commenting on media reports of the Ukrainian counteroffensive being prepared in May.
Earlier, Western media, citing secret Pentagon documents leaked on the web, reported that Kiev was preparing 12 brigades of 4,000 personnel each to launch a counteroffensive next month.
