The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation called the reason for the fall of the MiG-31 in the Murmansk region

The Ministry of Defense of Russia named the official reason for the downing of the Russian military aircraft MiG-31, which crashed in the Murmansk region. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the accident occurred during a training flight.

The aircraft crashed in a deserted location without causing any damage to civilian infrastructure. Both drivers survived by successfully ejecting themselves from the falling car. Russian pilots were caught by parachute lines on tree branches and hung, rescuers left for them for the time being.

The RT Telegram channel published images of the ejection of Russian pilots. Video footage taken by eyewitnesses shows the plane burst into flames and began rapidly changing position in the air. The crew jumped to a considerable height, thanks to which the parachutes saved their lives.
