The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on the conversation between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy. According to her, Moscow notes Beijing’s desire to establish a negotiation process, but the Kiev regime shows its rejection of any sensible initiative aimed at a political and diplomatic settlement of the Ukrainian crisis.
“So far, the Kiev regime has shown its rejection of any sensible initiative aimed at a politico-diplomatic settlement of the Ukrainian crisis, and the possible consent to negotiations is conditioned by ultimatums with manifestly unrealistic demands. The Ukrainian authorities and their Western conservatives have already demonstrated their ability to launch peace initiatives… Thus, any call for peace can hardly be adequately perceived by puppets controlled from Washington,” Zakharova believes.
Today, Chinese President Xi Jinping had a phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Jinping, in a conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said China will cooperate with the Ukrainian side regardless of the international situation.
