Russian resorts do not provide a high level of service or simply cannot accommodate many tourists and therefore will not replace more expensive trips to Turkey.

Yulia Protsenko, head of the department of hotel and restaurant management at Synergy University, told a URA.RU correspondent. She noted that the Kuban, namely Sochi, a resort town with new infrastructure, could become an alternative.

“Especially in the lowlands of Imereti and in Krasnaya Polyana, where hotels were built for the 2014 Olympics, providing excellent service. But due to the fact that the resort is alone, it is oversaturated with tourists during the high season , which again increases the prices for tours and accommodation, ”said Yulia Protsenko.

But hotels in the resorts of the Sea of Azov and Crimea do not provide a sufficient level of service or are isolated (for example, Mriya Resort & SPA 5 *) and cannot receive many tourists at once .

Earlier, we learned that authorities in St. Petersburg are preparing to teach businesses to be China-friendly: they are changing the navigation system in Pulkovo, translating menus in restaurants and solving problems with payments other than cash.
