Train traffic on the repaired railway part of the Crimean Bridge will start earlier than planned in May. This was announced by the head of the FKU Uprdor “Taman” Nikita Khrapov.

“All the difficult stages of the restoration of the railway part of the Crimean Bridge have been completed. Work is in progress on the layout of the track superstructure, technical communications and drainage. This allows us to anticipate the work schedule and launch the labor movement earlier than planned in May,” Khrapov said.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said that unique technologies are used in the repair of the bridge, thanks to which the spans will be lifted from the water with special cranes. He added that one span is fully functional, the other “has been slightly damaged”, but it has been decided to restore it.
