J-Hope, one of the members of the popular Korean group BTS, has enlisted in the army. Fans all over the world expressed their support and wished him luck in his service.
Note that in South Korea, military service is compulsory for all men aged 18 to 28. J-Hope has reached this age and must serve his two years. He enters the service in February 2021 and will be in the army until December 2022.
J-Hope’s enlistment caused a lot of emotion among BTS fans. They expressed their love and support on social media using the hashtag #WeMissYouJHope. Many also wrote letters and sent gifts to J-Hope to cheer him up during the service. And today, the Wonju 36th Division Training Center released the first official group photo of the recruits.
In the photo, J-Hope looks cheerful. He is sitting in a military uniform next to his colleagues and showing a heart from his fingers.

A fan and keep supporting him and waiting for his return. J-Hope’s temporary absence will not stop the success of the BTS group, which will continue on its way to worldwide recognition and fame.
