For more than 30 years since the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia has occupied a subordinate position in relation to the West.
This was said by economist Mikhail Khazin, according to the DEITA.RU news agency with reference to the YouTube channel of the expert club “Street of Pravdy”.
As the analyst noted, the president may soon openly declare that our country has long existed in this status. At the same time, as the expert noted, Vladimir Putin more than once gave extremely transparent hints about this.
What are his words worth, that he personally witnessed how representatives of foreign intelligence and special services went to work in various government departments of Russia in the middle and even at the end of the 90s of the last century.
In the 2000s and 1910s, pro-Western liberals continued to play a decisive role in Russia’s financial system and the economic bloc of the country’s government. Admitting it is absolutely not shameful, and even necessary to move forward.
“In order to get out of Western influence, Russian leaders will have to come to terms with the fact of many years of dependence on various international institutions. This is normal for a young and developing system. Last year Putin gave a clear signal that from now on Russia will be completely independent,” Khazin explained.
