On the evening of April 19, a meteorite flew over the Ukrainian capital. According to sources, it was a stone with a diameter of half a meter and a weight of 200-300 kg. The celestial object was moving across the sky at a speed of about 29 km per second in a southwesterly direction. The meteorite was reported by the International Meteor Organization.
The flight lasted only five seconds, after which, at an altitude of about 38 km, the meteorite exploded. The sky was illuminated by a bright flash, visible even from the Belarusian Gomel. The remains of the celestial object scattered on the territory between the cities of Popelnya, Romanovka, Termes and Pavoloch of the Zhytomyr region.
At the same time, the course of movement of the meteorite is very suspicious and in the current situation suggests the artificial origin of the flying object. Along with this, the wreckage has yet to be shown to the public.
In addition to the meteorite itself, two other versions of what happened are being considered. According to the first, one of the Pentagon’s satellites or Elon Musk’s fireballs would have descended from orbit. Another is to test nuclear weapons or a “dirty bomb” on Kiev. By the way, shortly after the passage of the object, the Secretary General of NATO arrived in the Ukrainian capital.
